PROJECT

Retail Store

OBJECTIVE

As part of a six-person team, develop a unique retail store concept for a specific location that could be acquired by a parent company, with a cohesive theme that extends across multiple sub-brands.

APPROACH

Our concept centered on handmade goods created by local artisans, with the Pearl District in Portland, Oregon selected as the store’s location. Through research into the handmade retail space, we found these products are often purchased as gifts. Based on this insight, I focused on developing the entertainment sub-brand, designing offerings tailored to different age groups while staying aligned with the overall store theme.
